Lord's Hill Church has the privilege of being linked with a Church in Bulopa in Uganda. 

 

We offer financial and prayer support to our link church and one of our members, Clive, has now visited there twice in recent years and we are in regular touch by email.

 

We've helped to fund the building of a toilet block onto the main church and have taken many simple gifts, such as footballs that have given the children so much pleasure. One of our church members donated her old keyboard, as she was upgrading. This was put to immediate use in supporting worship times.

Each year we also make up a lovely number of shoe boxes filled with gifts as part of the Samaritan's Purse appeal. It is our joy to follow up on the stories of what a difference these gifts make to children who lives in some of the most deprived parts of the world. The fact that the shoe boxes also bring children to faith is so amazing, praise God!
